BOARD AND STAFF

The Cinnabar Foundation Board of Directors currently consists of five members: 
  • Gordon (Corky) Brittan, a rancher, environmental entrepreneur and Regents Professor at MSU, serves as board member-at-large (Livingston, Montana); 
  • Duane Moulton, a partner in the accounting firm Holmes & Turner, serves as treasurer and oversees the Foundation’s financial records (Bozeman, Montana).
  • Robin Tawney Nichols, a writer and community activist, serves as the Foundation board president (Missoula, Montana); 
  • Grant Parker, General Counsel to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation specializing in land and habitat conservation, natural resources and nonprofit law, serves as board member-at-large (Missoula, Montana); and
  • Judi Stauffer, an artist and community activist, and wife of the late Rick Hubbard Sargent sustains the Sargent family’s environmental ethic and board representation, and serves as vice president (Santa Ynez Valley, California).

Emeritus Directors
  • Ernest Turner, a partner in the accounting firm Holmes & Turner, serves as board member emeritus and manages the Foundation’s assets (Bozeman, Montana); and
  • Jim Posewitz (deceased), was a conservationist, educator, founding Cinnabar Foundation board member, and Cinnabar's first executive director.  Following his retirement as an active board member, Jim served as board member emeritus until his death in July 2020.
