The Cinnabar Foundation celebrates its first quarter century by publishing
Len and Sandy Sargent: A Legacy of Activist Philanthropy.

Picture
The Cinnabar Foundation celebrated its first quarter century with a biography of its founders, “Len and Sandy Sargent: A Legacy of Activist Philanthropy,” by Foundation Chair Robin Tawney Nichols, with contributions by Scott McMillion. Tracing the history of the modern conservation movement in Montana and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, Nichols chronicles the story of “how two people added their voices and financial support to a growing grassroots movement and helped change the way environmental organizations address state and regional issues.” Published by The University of Montana Press, the Sargents’ story is distributed by Mountain Press Publishing Company, 1301 South Third Street West, Missoula, Montana 59801. Copies are available for $9.95 (plus $4 for shipping/handling), by calling 1-800-234-5308, or by clicking here. All sales proceeds go directly to the Cinnabar Foundation.
