  • Operate effective conservation programs that serve Montana or the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
  • ​Must have 501(c)(3) status.
  • Applications for General Operating Grants are accepted by invitation only.
  • Successful grant applicants are requested to provide a link from their website to Cinnabar's website.

  • ​Must have 501(c)(3) status or secure  a 501(c)(3) fiscal agent to sponsor the project.​
  • Successful grant applicants are requested to provide a link from their website to Cinnabar's website.
  • Multi Year Approval. ​Applications for multi-year programs/projects accepted with Cinnabar approval only.  ​Cinnabar's regular guidelines are to fund projects/programs that are completed within a year.  An approved request for a multi-year project doesn't mean that Cinnabar will fund the project for multiple years; it means that the applicant has approval to apply for funding for a project that won't be completed within a year.  Contact [email protected] for more information.   ​
